Explore Zoo Lights at the Denver Zoo  

If you’d like to treat your loved ones to an incredible light display, don’t miss out on Denver Zoo’s annual Zoo Lights. The 2018 Zoo Lights experience is sure to be unforgettable, as more than 2 million LED lights span the zoo’s 70 acres through January 6, 2019. See the Colorado Symphony 

Colorado Symphony is a treasure, and its talented performers are a pleasure to see all year round. For the holiday season, Colorado Symphony is gearing up for a variety of seasonal performances. A Classical Christmas, conducted by Brett Mitchell, is debuting on Friday, December 7 at Boettcher Concert Hall, and is sure to be a crowd pleaser. This mix of traditional holiday songs isn’t the only seasonal performance by the Colorado Symphony, so be sure to check out the calendar if you’d like to learn more about upcoming festivities.

Enjoy a Local Rendition of the Nutcracker

Colorado Ballet is based in Denver, and puts on more than 50 performances each year. If you’re a fan of classical ballet, you’ll love the Colorado Ballet’s version of The Nutcracker. This holiday event is available through December 24, and consistently receives rave reviews from attendees. The iconic Ellie Caulkins Opera House provides a stunning setting for the ballet performance and is widely regarded as a world-class performing arts facility.

Attend a Local Cooking Class  

Want to brush up on your cooking skills and wow your guests? Learn from the best at one of Denver’s cooking schools. Specialty cocktails are a great addition to your holiday menu, and Stir Cooking School is offering a holiday cocktail class on Saturday, December 8.
